Tapping and Drilling Fluids are designed primarily for manually applied applications on metals that are difficult to machine. The Ashburn line of Mike-O-Cut fluids and TD Foamy Aerosol comprise a full line of fluids for all tapping and drilling operations.
Mike-O-Cut no. 87
An extreme duty tapping and drilling fluid. Considered environmentally safe. It is thick like honey and sticks to the tap throughout the operation. It is ideal for tapping and drilling stainless steel, carbon steel, inconel, monel, hastalloy, titanium, aluminum and other alloys and exotics.
Mike-O-Cut
A solvent based tapping and drilling fluid designed to replace 1,1,1 trichloroethane based tapping fluids. It delivers equivalent performance without being labeled as a suspected ozone depleting agent.
Mike-O-Cut LV
A light viscosity heavy duty drilling and tapping fluid. It does not contain 1,1,1 trichloroethane. Ideal for use in a recirculating tapping fluid system.
TD Foamy Aerosol
An extreme duty tapping and drilling fluid designed for ease of application. This high performance product works well on ferrous and nonferrous materials and can be applied before or during the cutting operation. Its excellent foaming action penetrates deep into the cut to extend tap life and promote a superior finish.
